The Last Duel tanked pretty horribly, which makes me sad. According to the r/movies-discussion it was a fine movie. Might have something to do with EVERY weekend some big movie gets released, fall 2021 movie schedule is too packed for everything to make their money back.

I think Eternals also might be Marvel Studios’ first flop.

I had to sit through a trailer for this last night whilst waiting for Dune to start. It looked laughably poor, as did that Venom thing.

mono-stereo as Zach said it was available for free on HBO Max in the States the moment it opened in theatres. Same thing with all of WB-movies released this year.

Yeah if you’re really REALLY into Lynch movies and the Dune books it’s worth a go. But on its own it’s not a good film. The pacing is weird and not in a good, creepy way. The dialogue is stunted and confusing. It’s just a bad movie made poorly.

jonattonyeah maybe this is why i’ve never bothered to watch it. i think i’ve started twice and haven’t made it through 10 minutes.
