bosstrabs Millsy a brilliant shoot out When that’s the only fucking part of a whole movie anyone remembers, it shows the movie is fucking turgid.
BlainSA bosstrabs Makes it more REAL, Dave. Real Neil. Just like the shoot out scene where they had military training just so they could aim down the sights (VERY realistic and therefore deserves many awards) Vs Commando type hip firing an entire army (ridiculous and frankly makes the film so much worse…)
Millsy Reminds me of John Cleese in Holy Grail as the warlock, shooting fireballs everywhere and being generally menacing. ‘There are some who call me……Tim’
rhouses bosstrabs I could’ve sworn it was within the same school year. This was Dubai tho, so we probably got the movies a couple of months late.
Homegrove Philistines. Pacino’s shouting was apparently because his character was supposed to be a little coked up all the time. Would explain a lot of his behaviour. But they cut those scenes.

But they cut those scenes. Predictably Homegrove is into Heat, along with his love of all things bombastic yet utterly pedestrian such as Metallica and Marvel superhero movies.
rhouses BlainSA not easy on the ears either. The tension in the restaurant scene where I think it’s the first time de Niro and Pacino are on screen together, was aight.
Mad_Cyril BlainSA aim down the sights (VERY realistic and therefore deserves many awards) Vs Commando type hip firing an entire army Neither is particularly gangsta, so gets the thumbs down from me. 4REAL
BlainSA Along_the_Wire Whenever I think of that film the first thing that springs to mind is, “Gimme the keys ya fahkn cahksackablaala”. Then it’s those stories that Kevin Spacey is a kiddie fiddler…
vinnyt77 Millsy it’s not even in Michael Mann’s top 3 imo. INPO: Last of the Mohicans Manhunter The Insider
