Happened to some I left in the garage in our apartment in Cairns which is tropical also. Defo the humidity, it just seems to eat them and also vinyl. Also something ate the cover of my NE1 CD. That was some kind of insect though.

I saw video not long ago where some guy reckoned you should store your vinyl in the clear plastic covers as it destroys it.

I was surprised that when I found some CDRs of tracks I’d blagged from when big names still posted on GU I could rip them still. I would have expected them to be corrupted by now. But they were stored at room temperature in a closet in a cardboard box. Not in a garage or something like that.

Dogshit. Quite like despicable me 1 and 2 - they have a heart with Gru’s attachment to the kids - but it seems the studio has given up on any kind of story and it’s just a sequence of contrived ‘and then this happens’ in four different threads that converge for the finale.

Not quite boss baby 2 levels of brain melting but avoid even for the kids - rather unsurprisingly, this lowest common denominator crap is doing gangbusters at the flicks.

Lightyear. Not really up to scratch. Overdid the diversity element and had a ridiculous number of Star Wars references. Some funny moments. 6/10

The Black Phone. This could pass as a Stranger Things spin-off - supernatural kidnap horror. Ethan Hawke makes a good baddy. Actually a half decent watch as long as you don’t get dragged into a couple of real life things just just wouldn’t happen. 6/10

Along_the_Wire I watched this last night. Agree, some effective moments and nice low key period recreation. Worth watching.
