Amps Well, the origami that Gaff makes was originally indicative of the moment Deckard finds himself in from Gaff’s pov.
The chicken - Deckard is too chicken to take on the assignment
The matchstick man with the boner - Deckard is attracted to a replicant
The unicorn - lots of potential meanings including that he’s not ‘real’. He’s about to get into his sports car with his fit replicant bird. She is a ‘unicorn’ (open ended life span), she’s with Deckard and Gaff knows it. Very open on what it could mean. Add in the dream sequence then it’s no longer open.
I’d also say the crux of the film is more about what it is human rather than Deckard being a replicant anyway, but it’s obviously still an important detail.
