Homegrove that could be very good. Can’t go wrong with that casting. Going to give The Witch another go when I’m in the mood. Not sure I have the patience for The Lighthouse.

Felt Northman was pretty straightforward, like a bat shit crazy adaptation of Hamlet. Was expecting pretentious artsy fartsy bollocks after seeing what comer thought of it, but it’s nothing like that really. Enjoyed it far more than I did the Cohen Bros’ Macbeth.

Parasite is a great shout for a universally loved movie, and given how weird it is, that’s a surprise.

Watched it like 5 times in different ways, the first time on a plane just before it was recognised as a great movie. The last time in a cinema just before covid took over. Gets better with each watch.

It’s been a really bad year for films though - I can probably count the new films I’ve liked this year on 2 or 3 fingers, never mind a one hand. I’ve even stopped listening to Kermode’s podcast - I really don’t need to hear that all the week’s film releases are shit.
