I quite liked Parasite. Unusual and mad ending. Would defo watch again too.
Before all the spengs think it’s about a parasite from space coming down and devouring everything you’re going be disappointed. Will Smith isn’t in it either.

Millsy yeah. I watch it once a year, same as Spotlight. That was a good year for movies. I’ll nominate Sicario for a movie everyone liked. Some women I know criticized how Emily Blunt’s character was used in the movie, missing the point. She represented an outsider (or a normal person) in the middle of the cartel-madness. In that light her character makes perfect sense.

Love that film. I watched Margin Call again last week so I could listen to the recent Rewatchables episode of it and had completely forgotten what an excellent film it is. They made a good point about MC and TBS being part of a genre of films along with others like Wall Street, Wolf of Wall Street, Moneyball, Bright Lights Big City, Company Men etc.

rhouses Eggers’ is doing a remake of Nosferatu next with Bill Skarsgård. It’s his passion project, he’s talked about the original movie in just about every interview of his I’ve read.

Homegrove that could be very good. Can’t go wrong with that casting. Going to give The Witch another go when I’m in the mood. Not sure I have the patience for The Lighthouse.

Felt Northman was pretty straightforward, like a bat shit crazy adaptation of Hamlet. Was expecting pretentious artsy fartsy bollocks after seeing what comer thought of it, but it’s nothing like that really. Enjoyed it far more than I did the Cohen Bros’ Macbeth.
