Was in a good space routine-wise and at least managed to get from 115 to <100kgs in 2022, but the stress from a new-born baby and going all gung ho at work (joined as a full time consultant) so they’d hire me as a full time employee, has thrown everything out of wack for over the last 8 months. Will hit the reset button and go at it again in January.

Along_the_Wire she’s not to bad grant standing up for something that effects the younger generations. I draw the line at the pronouns and I’m quiet old fashioned I like to hold a door open for a lady or she/her/hers or a they/them/theirs if they would allow that nowadays.

vinnyt77 I’ve got no problems with people using gender specific or neutral pronouns. When people want to make their own pronouns (e.g. lef/lim/ler) it just overcomplicates. Remembering names is one thing, but remembering loads of unique pronouns that people decide they want to use on top of that is another.

And I wasn’t too sure about Amsterdam either, wasn’t bad, but really dragged at times. I don’t feel like I wasted my time, but I’ll never watch it again.

Amsterdam: Premise was quite interesting, as is the acting. Almost felt like a Coen Brothers movie or a season of Fargo (not just saying that because Chris Rock is in it and it’s the 1930s, like S4). However, you know the cameos are overkill when they have Taylor Swift in the cast. Margot Robbie is very good, as is the actress from Queen’s Gambit, Bale delivers as per. But the plot meanders far too much. Was just about ok with the length, but it really doesn’t deliver a punch. You’ll definitely be underwhelmed at the end of it. Swerve. 5.3 / 10
