caught the end of Devils Advocate last night. Haven’t seen it for tiiiiime blud. Had to turn the sound down several times because Pacino was doing his usual subtle delivery. Reeves should have given his half sister one like they do on pornhub in such situations before blowing his brains out. oops. spoiler alert.

Willem Dafoe and some people I hadn’t heard of hustle to get by in a slum hotel near Florida Disneyworld.

This is an quirky, realistic, immersive, joyful and affecting comedy-drama seen largely from the perspective of the kids who run amok. Brooklynn Prince, who must be about eight years old, is genuinely astonishing in the lead role.

Recommended.

While it might be tempting for novelty’s sake, don’t do Bram Stroker’s Dracula. It is NOT good and FAR too long. The hilarity lasts about 15 minutes before it gets very, very old.

Millsy also a favorite of mine, so much that I have it on Blu Ray. One of Nicholson’s best IMO. The director just let him go completely OTT.
