Fractured - fancied a bit of drama last night and it was on Amazon Prime. Was shocked to realise it was made in 2007, it looks and feels like 1997. It was okay, worth a watch if you’re at a lose end. 6/10
Dark Waters. Decent watch 7/10.
Big Lebowski, funnier than I remember, 8 caucasians out of 10.
Varsity Blues (1999)
I….DON’T….WANT….YOUR….LAAAFE
6/10
Would be 5 but Jon Voight’s Hitler salute is funny enough to give it a 6.
Children of Men… Odd little film in it’s own way, but still good fun. 7 flip flops out of 10.
Being John Malkovich, they don’t make em like this anymore… 6 surreal mixed metaphors out of 10.
Amps Love that film. Saw it in New York ages before it came out in the UK - went into the cinema with the missus mithering me in daylight and came out to Times Square lit up in darkness. Putty in my hands for the next 27 minutes.
Along_the_Wire I’ve still haven’t seen it. It’s been on list for years but I keep forgetting to watch it.
Great film that!
Bridge of Spies. Hanks bossing it. Easy watch. 7 two for one deals out of 10.
Amps that’s the best dad-movie in a awhile. Enjoyed it enough to buy the Blu Ray for 5 €.
National Lampoon’s Vacation. (1983)
Ye olde classic. Some good hearty laughs watching this.
“I’m going steady AND French Kissing.” “Yeah? Everyone is doing that.” “Yeah but my Dad says I’m the best.”
LT42 Love all those Lampoon films. Chevy chase cracks me up.
Watched “The Gentlemen” last night. Typical Guy Ritchie flick, but I like them, so 8/10 for me.

Watched Greyhound last night. Tension from start to finish. Nicely made. Top marks.
Raw - French movie about a young student who develops a penchant for cannibalism. 7 stringy pieces of meat out of 10.
A Man Called Ove. Thought it held up well in comparison to the book. 9/10.
JonQPublik I did enjoy the book. Didn’t know they made a film out of it.
They did Dubman.
Jon watched it and gave it a 9/10.
Smallman1 I missed a crucial word out…fixed.
