Rate The Last Movie you Watched

Watched all the Star Wars films in chronological order over the last couple of weeks. Mark Hamill is a terrible actor. Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor are also wooden and the 3 prequels are absolute garbage.

Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver are both genuinely good in the final 3, and the two by J J Abrams are the best, particularly the last one. I think he nailed it.

mono-stereo I’ve only ever seen the prequels once each and the last two were only because I had to take the kids. Truly awful films that capture nothing of the originals. The last JJ Abrams one was a pleasant surprise.

mono-stereo Daisy Ridley’s character is just some glorified head girl. Completely lacking in nuance and depth. As for the completely underdeveloped, clunky Finn (Boyega said as much) and the CGI Leia, the less said about that the better. Rubbish compared to the original trilogy. It’s only the Mandalorian which has restored a modicum of self respect

Soul. Generally like Pixar stuff but just couldn’t get into this. Kids fighting perhaps ruined it or maybe just a bit overhyped. 6/10 for me, Clive.

Exactly, the original 3 simply trade on nostalgia. They aren’t very good.

They fucked up bad, by not having a plan, instead of three different directors given free reign, who didn’t care what one had done previously. Force Awakens I can watch by itself, I think it’s a really good one.

mono-stereo if you don’t rate the first three, why waste your time on the rest which really do trade on nostalgia. Let’s bring back Chewie, Han, original storm troopers, millennium falcon and a CGI Leia. No imagination at all
