Along_the_Wire I have subscriptions to Sky, BT sports, Disney, prime and netflix. £16 for a new film? No thanks. I will be however be first in line when my local Everyman reopens.
alistair Let’s hope there are some half decent films to watch there, eh? Thor: The Road to Tedium III will look a little out of place.
Along_the_Wire the last film I saw pre lockdown at the cinema was Parasite (marvellous) and I did manage to see Tenet (OK) when they temporarily reopened
You’re missing my point.
I suspect that many of these oscar nominated films that barely anyone has seen will be first off when the decent cinemas reopen. These awards shows will be akin to flogging dead horses
Tenet summed up in 3 mins. lol.
alistair Going to the cinema is a night out.
Lol.
Think both of you are right.. if you’re not a family or couple, then 16 quid is steep for a film watched on your sofa. But imo we need to keep supporting the industry because otherwise there will be nothing left.
I’m ok with the film industry going, haven’t watched a film or been to the cinema in years.
Smallman1 Nightclubs are far more likely to collapse. 40% of employees have been laid off already
alistair Collapse how? Staff have been laid off so the owners can ride out the storm until it passes. As soon as things normalise staff will be re-hired.
I shall single handedly revive the entire industry Alistair, worry ye self not chief.
The Guardian gave Snyder Cut of Justice League 4 stars wtf. 😂
Homegrove 5 stars in the Telegraph!
Phil-McRackin always my go-to for film reviews. LOL
Get the fuck out.
Homegrove Get the fuck out.
Oh cool, I didn’t know there was a sequel. I thought Daniel Kaluuya was excellent in the first one.
Along_the_Wire just googled for reviews and that came up…Robbie Collin…hated Jojo rabbit and loves the transformers films…
Have your fucking upvote.
