I watched that with my 7yr old the other day…he loved it. The tree stump monster scared the shit out of me as a nipper. Noticed its just been increased to 12a for its remastered rerelease, not a great surprise.

Phil-McRackin I remember thinking it was mint when I saw it at the cinema as a kid, and yeah, the stump scene was proper scary.
Watching as an adult, it’s a completely different film!

Mad_Cyril The visual effects are terrible, marginally above Blake’s 7, so it would certainly look way better.

Princess Aura definitely introduced me to some new feelings. There’s an doc on Prime about Sam Jones..Life After Flash… he’s quite the bell end. Never realised that the voice in the film isn’t him.

This is a Russian space-sci-fi-conspiracy-thriller type of thing. The two lead actors are pretty good and the first half was pretty decent but it loses its way a bit which was a shame.

Not completely terrible and some really nice atmospheric scenes but I was checking my watch in the final third.

Original Pelham 123. Brilliant film, they don’t make anything with this much style or character these days, Matthau is on top form.
