Along_the_Wire I’ve not seen The Beasts yet either. It’s in my list of films that I am strongly looking forward to watching - when the circumstances are right i.e the missus is away and can’t ruin it with her mithering. I’m confident it will be good from my due diligence.
Bergman Island was an unusual one. Slow and understated on the surface and yet also very interesting and original and … ended up being a bit of a grower, I thought. I only recommended it to MC because I know he’s a man of sensitivity and refined taste; I wouldn’t recommend it to Dermo or Liqui, for example.
