Amps looks brilliant
nicksneddon just realised it should be phone ‘boothes’ not boxes, and on reflection I have downgraded it to 2 out of 10.

Nice one. Haven’t heard of this but always enjoyed SS’s films. Think “The Limey” is one of the better and more underrated films of the ’90’s. Shall give this a go.
jonattonyeah fuck yes the Limey! Had to order the 20th anniversary Blu Ray from the UK as it was the only place in the Europe it was released in. Quite an overlooked film.
Becky. A thirteen year old girl goes all John Wick on some nazi home invaders. Takes a bit too long to get going, but an enjoyable revenge flick. Grant will hate it 😏
Amps phone box still works, you’re just old.
Booth would be more American though, no?
Trailers where all stuff already seen too 👎
Excellent. Not good, mind. But excellent. Cage’s wife is a smokeshow. Ed Harris takes himself far too seriously. And it’s in SF, so a soft spot there. Great score.
5/5 but if we’re on a ten point scale, a firm 5/10.
12 Years a Slave. Still had the same effect on me as when i first watched back in 2013. Brilliant acting and don’t know what the white actors felt like reading the script before filming. It did seem like the last 15 mins was slightly rushed. Still powerful & very moving.. 9/10
On the Rocks by Sofia Coppola… sequel of sorts to Lost in Translation, starring Bill Murray, about a mother who suspects her husband is having an affair. Once again it’s low key, but doesn’t have the atmosphere nor soundtrack that imo made LiT a great film…..6 or 7 out 10…Grant would give it 3/10
Jules72 LOL, if it’s twice as good as Lost in Translation, it should get a 4
Finding the Way Back. It’s a bit corny and a bit shit truth be told, but I just liked it. Alcoholic ex High School basketball legend is called in to help coach his old team - it evens sounds shit. No score, just enjoyed it really.
Ben Afleck really prepared to that by becoming an alcoholic who lost his family.
The Searchers. Supposedly a “classic” Western in which John Wayne tracks down the tribe that slaughtered his family and then has a word with the chief.
The film seemed to drag on for most of Sunday with an incredibly abrupt ending.
Absolute dog shit. 0/5
A lol for Mono!
Watched “Leave No Trace” last night. It wasn’t eye opening, or boundary shattering or anything, but I thought it was still a really well done movie about what life is like for homeless people and why some of them are out there in the first place. Also kind of humbling to see how they lived their lives and were still fulfilled. 8/10.
😆 Everyone is shitting themselves with disclaimers in their reviews for fear of getting rinsed or labelled as watching any auld shite (Homegrove) Im also noticing alot of people are in the middle of their cycles as well. ‘Short Circuit 2 - oh it was rubbish but i just loved it!’ Draped across the 2 seater with a with a giant bar of galaxy and a hot water bottle on your tummy.
seanc80 Behave yourself - I’m pretty brutal when it comes to film reviews - I couldn’t give a fuck. Exception was that Ben Affleck film on Sunday - first time I’ve ever come across something like that ie it’s shit but I like it.
seanc80 lol
Along_the_Wire Er Ok Diane. See you at spinning class on Tuesday!
Sean blowing his cover to reveal he is actually barry Norman in real life. In the process he kills two birds with one stone, a man of that age can wear grandad shirts without fear of being ridiculed.
