C_J Ok she insisted I write this 😂 so: Red onion instead of shallots cucumber needs to be well peeled all veg need to be in small pieces (but not too small) freshly chopped mint (fresh only) and needs to be finely chopped plenty fresh lemon juice mixed with olive oil (whisk together so it forms a dressing, add sumac) All veg needs to be properly blended with the dressing sumac (extra pinch in the end) to make the bread - it’s essential it’s crispy. She will need to heat olive oil in a pan and then sautee the squared pita

C_J or do the old trick if she has a gas stove and use the flames to crisp a whole pita slice which she can then break into squares and add to the salad in the very end when i say all veg needs to be blended I mean mixed in properly by hand or with salad spoons 😀

Smallman1 There’s been a change of scenery at Casa Smalls. We’ve now got turkey, french cut of pork, lamb and a roasted gammon in molasses. And one type of potato, roasted in goose or duck fat.

Dubman Went to get the bird form the butchers but everyone had sold weeks ago. I then got offered one from the Goodwood estate but they wanted nearly a ton for it. No chance as there’s only three of us this year. Chicken dippers it is. With no mash.
Millsy Dubman never say never on the mash front. I’m a convert now I’ve heard what a game changer adding spring onions is. Can’t wait to see my family’s little faces!
Dubman Kells77 No. We always have it in the evening. We did used to have beef & turkey for lunch but the family was much bigger back then.
