Millsy lol. Accurate. Steer clear from the slides which I wear to badminton and table tennis, would be my only advice. And I only provide my 10 year old havaianas flip flops for guests. Though I’m thinking about picking up an extra pair of those nike slides for visitors.
-si- The 993s aren’t for everyone… quite chunky and the USA USA USA branding is a bit in your face. The materials and comfort are on another level, however. Which is what makes them great beaters. I wouldn’t pay retail ($230) for them. I imagine the Made in UK 991s might work for you Si. Or the 2002R, which are ridiculously popular and don’t cost an arm & leg, like the “Made” series.
