LT42 Along_the_Wire That last 3km looked like absolute murder, fair play. Really looking forward to today, I reckon Cav is nailed on to do it. He’s looking very strong and I reckon Alaphillipe will drive the steam train.
LT42 Think the crashes broke up some momentum, the break went early and the peleton look like they’ve been happy with a rest
LT42 Along_the_Wire T’would be the perfect ending to a brilliant few weeks. I’ve enjoyed it so much this year. If Cav flies up the Champs-Elysees on Sunday there’ll be some scenes 🥳
LT42 Along_the_Wire yeah for sure, his dominance took the sting out of it a week ago. Looking back now, that bint with the sign caused some damage.
Along_the_Wire Fucking hell Cav. He stopped pedalling trying to find space and it cost him. I hope he comes back next year
LT42 Along_the_Wire Looked like he had space to go up the outside an all, pity he didn’t do it in the end but still he’s had a phenomenal tour. Van Aert is pretty special and a big ruiner.
Along_the_Wire LT42 Nope, neither are Ineos by the looks of things. No-one from the Tour will be in that - they’ll be recovering. I don’t know what the warm-up race is for the Vuelta - think it’ll be a cracker this year as all the failures from the Tour due to crashes etc will be all over it.
Along_the_Wire LT42 14th August mate. I expect it to be much better than the Tour and the Giro this year
Hursty Not looked at the Vuelta stages this year, some of them are usually double nawty! Like Stage 18 by the looks of things… https://www.lavuelta.es/en/stage-18
