In other cycling drivel news, I recently found out that UCI have changed some of their regulations around TT bike measurements - if you’re over 180cm tall, your allowed a 2cm addition lift on your aero bars - is quite an advantage and I only really just squeeze in at 182cm. I’ve just had to pay £80 to get my height signed off by a private doctor as my GP told me to get to fuck. Now if that’s not drivel, I don’t know what is?

What a stunning climb and a savage finish from Tadej, I was feeling the lactic in my own legs watching it!

I can’t understand how it is possible to do that, it was superhuman. The power/heart rate figures must have been off the charts.

Set up really nicely for the Alps, Jumbo seem to be lacking depth at the moment, WvA is having a shocker this year, they are missing his turn on the front

He’s just the strongest rider - look what he did in the classics? Pretty mental. Commentators saying that Vinegaard had an easy ride because UAE controlled the race - he was in Pogacar’s wheel and about 8th in the strung out peloton - there is no advantage to that, they’d have both been making the exact same relative effort.

I wouldn’t go that far, granted he hasn’t been as good as last year but he was brilliant in the 1st week and one of the reasons Jonas is in yellow. He’s a brilliant team mate.

LT42 he’s been out of sorts, usually he’s in the mix for stage wins, doing big efforts on the front in the mountains but he’s gone missing too often for a rider of his class for me
