I want Pog to win, love the way he races - like a kid. Felt for Vinegaard - his path to the pros was horrible - worked in a fish factory for a year and thought his career was over. Modest fella, large missus and a kid. Pog can suffer big time - if it wasn’t for those motor bikes, he’d be in yellow. Some race - no idea who’s on form or not - Pog has got great at looking like he’s suffering - glasses off, eyes and all that. Some stage.

I dunno, I agree with Robbie McKewan that he wasn’t paying attention to the bikes at all, especially given the space they had with the fans - plus he dropped a water bottle out of his hand down the hill before that Kelly picked up on, like his concentration was gone he was so fucked.
Amazing race though. Hursty must’ve been watching a different van Aert because he’s been doing that every day since the 1st stage. All that’s been missing is a stage win.

I know it’s easy for me to say but I wish Jonas would show a bit of bollox or personality and attack Pog in the last 1 or 2 kms. All this looking over his shoulder and then reacting after Pog goes does my head in.

Jesus, Jonas. Take it easy. Talk about hitting a guy with a sledgehammer. Now it just looks like he was playing with him like a cat and a ball of wool all along. Yesterday was beyond impressive. As sport goes, that’s as good as it gets.

Genuinely feel for Pog, an honest and brilliant competitor, hopefully he’ll be back strong next year. What a rivalry it is. So enjoyable.

Yeah you’d have to fancy Pog in the TT although the stage layout is interesting, looks like a mini mountain stage.
Powless had the jersey all week but he looks a level below most of the men going up the Alps, this year anyway. Love watching Ciccone, giving out to fellas non stop 😆

Unbelievable. Pog’s ride was superb too - my only hope is that Vinegaard over-cooked jt, but don’t think he has.

He just looked on fire the whole way, incredible TT. I laughed when he said he thought his power meter was broken because of the watts he was pushing!

As you’ve hinted, its unlikely he will have a bad day so its his to lose now. Pog mentioned the potential for rain tomorrow, could make it interesting.

Talking of tomorrow, what an absolute monster day, 165km of brutal climbs, cannot wait
