LT42 I wish Jonas would show a bit of bollox or personality

Jesus, Jonas. Take it easy. Talk about hitting a guy with a sledgehammer. Now it just looks like he was playing with him like a cat and a ball of wool all along. Yesterday was beyond impressive. As sport goes, that’s as good as it gets.

Genuinely feel for Pog, an honest and brilliant competitor, hopefully he’ll be back strong next year. What a rivalry it is. So enjoyable.

Maybe Jonas should actually race a classic with the big boys at some point and see how good he is then. Pog’s the best all round rider in the world and who knows what would’ve happened if it wasn’t for his wrist in the spring. Feel for the lad, he looked properly broken. He had grazes in his knee and elbow - hadn’t noticed those before

I see the French papers are trying to subtly suggest Jonas maybe doping, I guess it comes with the territory, seems like the polar opposite to guys like Lance so find it hard to believe its anything other than bullshit to sell papers

Hursty I don’t think he is to be honest, he’s trained solely for this Tour - Pogacar hasn’t. Jonas didn’t put that much time into the break and I think a fit Pogacar could follow that pace.
