          Along_the_Wire Do you think every sport should be the same number of sets, miles, games, time, weights for men and women regardless?

          How do you think the pro womens tour would react to a full mens TdF?

          Taking tennis again, the prize money is the same, the sets are 2 less, that seems to be a balance for most

              Hursty are women less capable than men outside of athletics, football, basketball, softball and almost every other sport where times, sets, halves etc are all exactly the same?

              Women playing 3 sets instead of 5 is fair for the same money? No wonder no one watches the cunts.

                  Hursty what’s my view? Women are more than capable of 21 stage races or playing 5 sets - I’m all for equality - you patronising women by suggesting that they can’t race for 21 stages or play 5 sets is by far the worst part of this conversation.

                      Along_the_Wire Where did I say that? I asked a question about how the womens teams would receive that, ie would they be open to a race of GT length?

                          I would have thought someone with your cycling knowledge would understand the point trying to be made here.

                          Lots of positives around this 8 stage Tour for women next year, currently there isn’t the strength and depth in women’s pro teams to hold a 21 stage GT, so the racing would be somewhat mute to say the least, that is all I’m saying.

                          I will certainly be watching it next year and hopefully it will be the catalyst for bigger and better races in the future
