GU from the beginning. Bedrock from the beginning but rarely used it until the GU board closed down. Was on 4Four but it was a pretty crap there.

4four was quite good at first until the admin (Louthy?) adopted a fucking bizarre new format which was unreadable.

The Bedrock board got a lot better after Dermo had run all the sycophants out of town. You gotta give him credit for that.

I do, although some of my favourite Dermo moments where when he got called out on something, such as the Eastern Bloc story, and thoroughly went to war with the perpetrator.

I also thought the Phil Opian episode was great, how he spent about a year logging in and conversing with his alias, all so he could attack Smallman (and me) from behind a sockpuppet.

Great in the sense that it just underlined how seriously mental he is.

When i joined the jc fam, he thought i was dogstar man or whoever the fuck he is called. So I googled dog, star and man and found a pic with all three things in it, changed my avatar to it and he went absolutely bat shit.

Was looking at my IP address and tried to tell me i lived in brighton lol. Despite 5 other IP address searches all showing belfast.

Wasn’t that an alias of Flares? Even though he never admitted it, the writing style seemed the same to me. And Flares seemed a type who would be into fey indie bands outside electronic music, he once wore all brown to a nightclub for instance.

I remember when Dermo & flares were constantly giving you & MC loads of shit. Wasn’t Dave in on it as well. The PPT was born out of it.

He used to live in Cairns but relocated to Sydney a couple of years ago. I still speak to him occasionally. He always drops me an email around Christmas/NY.
