bosstrabs BF sprung that ruse. There was a chap on Discogs (I think) from Scotland who was looking for a copy of an old record, he had a paragraph or two about the track. Dermo posted on the old board in one of the “Golden Oldies” threads looking for the exact same track and the query was pretty much word for word (BF provided a screenshot), BF then jumped on him about this and he panicked and hit the DEFCON 5 button, then disappeared for 3 or 4 months claiming he was being hacked.
Any mention of the name “Ian” afterwards was guaranteed to raise his blood pressure. Headcase.
