            I’m worried though that a combination of pandemic fatigue, mistrust in the Government, and vaccine hesitancy will lead to this spike being far worse than it needed to be. Bunch of friends who so far have been restriction compliant who have said that if restrictions were introduced before and for Christmas, they’d ignore them completely - and frankly, who can blame them at this point?

                vinnyt77 I guess it’s a question of what sits right with the individual and what their plans are. Who am I to judge. Didn’t think twice about getting the booster but the trade off is that we are determined to let our hair down this Christmas, especially as last Christmas was ruined by Covid (we all got it and had to chuck away the Turkey and everything) 😀

                              There are studies ongoing to find out the long term effects of this variant. It may be mild and deaths may be down in comparison to Delta but there’s a good reason experts aren’t advocating tops off just yet. Forget the Govt and for God’s sake stop watching the fucking news if you have a problem with hysteria. Any cunt claiming this is mild so plow on would be best ignored until things unfold in the New Year.
