zackster Yup, looks like it. Sounds too early to know anything about transmissability / severity though. Local health services in Marseille haven’t been screening positive tests for the variant so far. They’ve found a very small number of cases in ICUs that appear to be this new variant.
Have to hope it’s a similar story to Omicron in terms of impact.
