Homegrove I’m too lazy for an animal that needs to be walked three times a day.

Enough about Ed.

The Nazis point, I suspect, is that you already have one

Not that I’m calling mrs Zacko woof, I’m sure she’s lovely

Domesticated, at the coal face, tops off.

A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma!

Mad_Cyril With most domestic animals, likelihood is cognitive superiority would result in role reversal in 6 - 12 months

Cats and dogs are complete clowns.

We finally have it in our household now, lad has it, now to see if anyone else gets it.

Incredible to watch the onset, dropped him off to school Thursday morning, he was bouncing around playing footy with his mates before going in, picked him up after school still full of energy. Got home and almost immediately he started coughing and sneezing incessantly, lateral flow that evening was positive and he was feeling really I’ll by bedtime, it was all so rapid. Day off yesterday with flu symptoms, high temp, aches the lot. Wake up this morning and he’s back to normal almost! Crazy.

PCR confirmed positive overnight so we just continue to test and see if we get it

Hursty My two youngest had it the week after Christmas.

Sounds similar to how you described your son’s experience with it. They were unwell for one day, after that they were just back to normal (although both tested positive for another 7 days).

    alistair Kids are so resilient

People always say that but why not put it to the test?

Punch a child in the stomach and see how quickly he gets up and stops crying, for example.

bosstrabs People always say that but why not put it to the test?

Stupid shite. Its up there with “at the end of the day” and “it is what it is.”

Our toddler brought it home from nursery last weekend, he tested positive on Sunday evening with temperature etc. I tested positive and have had flu symptoms since Wednesday, but my partner is still negative which is a bit of a head scratchier as we’ve all been at home this week.

303abuser I don’t think you need a booster at all 303 if you’ve just had covid…. I’m still debating with myself whether to have one after having had covid 2 months ago… you get to 6 months then I can see an argument for it, but a month afterwards is overkill - in 2-3 months your booster protection starts to drop steeply.
