Along_the_Wire Not one to get too defensive over scousers because I’m not one, but a slight twang of accent has seen me called ‘scouse scum’ in Bristol and a few other unbidden insults so I feel a degree of solidarity.
The scenes in other parts of the country have been every bit as bad, particularly South London, attacking the police who are trying to break up a street party etc.
And there is no shortage of older, more sensible people around here castigating people who are behaving like dickheads, either.
