bosstrabs do you not find the whole tribal party politics game a bit tedious and futile mate?
i think the Tories prefer to lift people out of poverty by creating opportunity whereas the left tend to prefer a more direct transfer of wealth from rich -> poor, right? As someone put it recently “the best way to make people less poor is to give them money”.
Anyway, this was not my point. My point was that the left and right both seem equally obsessed with fighting the virus and neither side seems to be much concerned with keeping people off the streets and out of poverty. I think that both things are important and I think that they should either commit to protecting low incomes during lockdowns or find a different approach more akin to that followed by Sweden which allows people to work.
Do you have any substantial comment to make on the above, or am I to expect some Wally-level riposte along the lines of “LOL CJ’s having a wank to his Shiti Patel poster again !!!11”
