Along_the_Wire to add, when I suggest giving red wine a major swerve, that would really apply to avoiding excessive consumption of alcohol in general. Lots of alcohol + severe allergies = a really, really bad time, as alcohol prevents your body breaking down histamine and many alcoholic drinks also contain a decent amount of histamine themselves.
But red wine can be especially triggering and if one is to drink then clear alcohol tends to be marginally less severe.
Related to this, also be careful with shellfish as often the histamine levels can be off the charts.
It’s also been mentioned above, but depending on where you are exactly you may wish to move somewhere with less air pollution (given that air pollution can trigger asthma and also trap pollen). Being near the sea might also help.
