Can I ask, did you have a rapid antigen positive first and then a confirmatory PCR? Because we prioritize those who had a antigen positive first. But the idea of a 15 minute PCR is impossible. That said, a three hour turnaround is solid. Good job by them. Proper Disc 2 work.

jonattonyeah I took a LFT had a positive and then work paid for a 4 hour PCR test and got it biked to my door and they waited whilst I did the test

Jules72 to go to the US, you only need a LFT so I’m doing that at a chemist round the corner. If that’s showing I’m still positive, I’ll use the positive PCR test from last week and the GP letter saying I’m fit to fly.

I’ll book an ExpressTest at T5 arrivals for when I come back

Damn. Four hours is fast. They’re doing excellent work. We’re still stuck at 24 hours for antigen positives and 36-48+ for those who are just random walk-ups.

Jules72 this is the worrying grey area for me - symptoms on Sunday, tested positive Tuesday and Covid App says I need to self-isolate until Midnight Wednesday (10 full days following you first symptoms). The US might just tell me to fuck off 8 days after the positive test

I can get fit to fly tests in under 4 hours.

We can turn around PCR tests at work in 2 hours now.

Wishing I’d purchased a PCR machine now. Would be raking it in. Only takes about 45 mins to run the actual test.
