Was it Benson who mentioned the huge increase in cases in SA but next to no subsequent increase in hospital admissions, icu cases and deaths.

The delta variant was touted as something similar when it first appeared. Was going to render the vaccines next to useless and have a devastating effect. Thankfully the vaccines etc meant that didn’t happen. Hopefully the same with this omicron variant…
