His sister has been amazing tbf. She’s been campaigning to highlight the importance of taking the vaccine on social media etc. from the day he died - now in the national press too. Massive respect for her.

Thats the thing these “influencers” don’t fully understand, or don’t want to face up to. There are a ton of people out there nowadays that are so easily influenced not just into buying fucking cosmetics/shit from China, but buying into looney gossip that causes people to die. Proper consequences . People need to STFU and keep their crazed opinions to themselves. This shit is serious and everyone needs to follow the science and all work together and get through this. It isn’t going away people……

I’m beginning to think that far from being a really negative event, Omicron could actually turn out to be a very positive one.. reason being that it looks like it is highly transmissible (and therefore will displace delta) but also leads to only mild symptoms (from anecdotes so far)…

Except admission numbers appear to be the same.

15 x as many cases and the same number of hospital admissions. PLus I think their vaccination rates are much lower than ours. Need more convincing that this is all doom and gloom
