That’s not a sizeable statistical difference.

I’m not acting blind, and I’ve not tried to claim that the number of vaccinated people occupying ICU beds isn’t of concern. Calling vaccinated people ‘responsible too’ is pretty fucking disingenuous though, as I’ve shown on two occasions now that whilst the absolute number of vaccinated people in hospital is higher, the probability of someone who is vaccinated ending up in hospital is far lower, because of their vaccination status.

For what it’s worth, I don’t agree with the vaccine passport rules that are being introduced - because I don’t think they’ll be at all effective. Not sure why you’ve thrown that in here though….

Just me or does the virus seem more fatal now than pre vaccine. By the way some go on here it is, to much fear being spread.

The important stat to know was as of last week the survival rate was 99.42% from covid and prior to vaccine was around 98% if i recall right. Also people who end up in hospital could now be obtaining the anti viral drugs but there will be no stats for that.

By your own comments, 98% survived pre-vaccine, and 99.42% survive now. That means 2% died pre-vaccine and 0.58% die now.

That means it’s MORE survivable than it was pre-vaccine. I have no idea if your data points for mortality are even remotely correct, but it seems you can’t even get your head around what the two data points you shared actually mean.

to back up vinny’s stats from above, i checked the same for my province:

currently 373 in hospital, 68 in icu.
of those hospitalized 32.4% are vaxxed (3.8/100k), 63.3% not vaxxed (23.7/100k)*
of those in icu 25% are vaxxed (0.53/100k), 73.5% not vaxxed (5.01/100k)*

*i left out partially vaccinated, that’s why the don’t add up to 100%

Funky I don’t know. I haven’t claimed to know. As I said in my reply, I’m not questioning the data - I’m questioning your ability to understand it. I’m stunned (but not in the least surprised) that you don’t seem to have the first and simplest level of understanding of the data you shared.

this is what you said, you directly indicated that there are potential consequences to a vaccine regimen that no one is recommending. you don’t know how to source or parse information.
