We don’t know yet and like all other manufacturers, they can tweak it. AZ is a cost effective method for developing countries and definitely shouldn’t be dismissed.

        It’s been recommended for us. Keep in mind we’re first in line so it’s been quite a while since my initial booster - since like August or September? I don’t remember. I don’t have to get another shot (the initial vaccines and the booster are required), but the department said if you’re going to be doing front line work and it’s been a while since initial vaccination and booster, just get another one. I don’t really care so I’ll just do it. I’ll let you know if my skin turns inside out or if I start finding Jeff Mills listenable.

                zackster I called this right off the bat that it was scaremongering. So far I have called it right every time. We really do need to get on with life now. And peopke who are refusing to engage wirth vaccines just need to be left behind. They still get NHS care and the same care as everybody else but we need to stop worrying about them.                     benson you did indeed. I would add that in addition to the media needing to be reigned the fuck in, the same is obviously true of pieces of shit like the dude from Pfizer. If the current jab is effective there is NO needs to already be blathering about new boosters.

                      The CEO of Pfizer is going on Lex Fridman’s podcast soon. That should be interesting. I’m oblivious to what the “media” are pushing but I’ve read the reports on new trials and it seems the experts in those fields are saying boosters overwhelmingly protect against the new variant but also it’s far too early to see how this will pan out. Hospitalisations are growing in SA so the next few weeks will reveal more. I also saw a chart that showed young people and children are the highest infected groups right now.
