Not really. It’s also been coming up on three weeks since Thanksgiving.

And I speak as someone with pulmonary fibrosis from the bastard. I don’t take Covid lightly. It’s ruined my ability to hike in high elevation areas.

My Mum had her NHS appointment cancelled last week with no explanation she waited 3 months for it, its quiet serious and she had cancer in the past, so if she doesn’t hear back within a month with new appointment she will have to go private. Fucking mess simple as that.

Mad_Cyril he had a heart attack and spent some time in hospital. Nurses were wonderful but the closest my mum got to seeing him was the reception to drop off his pyjamas and phone charger. All very distressing at the time. Fine now, back to playing 18 holes of golf (which is his world)

This is an Oxford University study released today on virus neutralisation levels by Pfizer and AZ jabs. Yes it shows AZ is pretty useless on this metric, but it also shows the Pfizer works as well for Omicron as AZ did for delta. Given we switched to Pfizer some time ago, again this shows we really don’t think we need to be overly concerned.

Funny how the paper doesn’t come out with this conclusion as it’s main finding… but then it wouldn’t want to single out AZ would it?!!

My parents got their booster shots last Thursday, sore arm being the only negative side effect. So can go spend the Christmas Eve with them with little worries. I’m getting mine at the end of February if Finland sticks to the 6 month plan after the second shot.
