i’m now on day 4 of this and confidently willing to punch anyone calling it the sniffles. this is easily the worst i’ve ever felt from an illness. it’s like groundhogs day, there’s no arch to it, just the same aches and pains every day. haven’t slept properly since saturday, so that’s not helping anything either.

thanks, i was hoping to see it start to recede a bit, but day 1 and day 4 aren’t much different. i have slightly muted taste/smell, but no worse than the average cold. it’s the body aches, especially my joints and skin, and i feel like i’m swallowing razor blades still.

i know i’m sick when i get no enjoyment out of listening to music. although i’m half way through season 3 of the sopranos again after starting on monday morning. think i had 3 separate dreams around the show last night. 🤣

Grant would def be more suited to being an Aussie - they’ve already started with internment camps for those who are meant to quarantine (including negative testing contacts, even if unvaxxed), or have committed even minor violations of regulations. Plus there’s quite a bit of casual xenophobia. The place is turning in to even more of a small-minded, fascist island than Britain.
