SF reporting 30% completely asymptomatic, 40% very mild symptoms, 20% symptomatic, 5% in need of care. Death rate in the 0.3% to 0.5% range. Not too bad. Once again, we could have a milder strain.
Google partnering with the City to ramp up testing in the Tenderloin. That should be illuminating. For those of you who don’t know, the Tenderloin might be the most bonkers neighborhood in the first world. An 6×6 block open air drug market with rampant prostitution, homeless encampments, and mental illness. It’s honestly a disgrace but, hey, SF was built on degeneracy so c’est la vie. Crazy to have that on the ground with Twitter, Uber, Square, and Dolby in the buildings above.
