Latest covid track/trace report from the govt…. outbreak numbers are on page 19 though there’s no breakdown into schools and universities (how stupid is that?!).. any outbreaks are evenly split between work, educational settings and care homes

Jules72 Germany and France better have it right that they’re not or they will be in lockdown for a few months (not one) given they’re keeping schools open

I wouldn’t be surprised if they extend most of the restrictions beyond a month regardless of what happens.

Mad_Cyril err righty oh… did all my research on hepa filters and the risks of travelling.. and travelled to country with way less covid than the U.K. at the time…but I’m a thicket …. alright then!

Article shows strong evidence of transmission from a foreign holiday destination.

Its not an isolated case, nor should it be a surprise to anyone.

Anyone travelling abroad for leisure during a pandemic is a thicket.

Its irresponsible at best.

Or do they strip HEPA filters from planes coming out of Spain?

Mad_Cyril it’s irresponsible behaving like an idiot on holiday - going clubbing for example (Spain kept clubs open)… it isn’t irresponsible travelling to and from a destination with low covid prevalence in a safe manner and not behaving in a risky way… moreover you are underestimating the amount of covid that was already here - this spike would have happened anyway
