My dad’s best friend died from it a few days ago. His whole family got it, wife and two young boys, and all got better except him. Not sure on details on actual cause. Sad days.
On the birther side, on of my mates and his girlfriend got in Mexico a few weeks back, both are fine. Few days of fever, exhaustion, no big deal overall. He got a slight cough too I think but it went away the next day.
My mom and my stepdad got it back in April, both are fine. She had fever for 9 days straight tho. Her oxygen level dropped to the point where she was supposed to go to the hospital, but of course the stubborn one didn’t and all is well. In fact, i think if she did go… who knows. My stepdad was the prime target, 72, high blood pressure, bypass.. no problem. Not even fever.
The whole thing makes no sense to me.
