LT42 Some legacy left by Trump
Trump is a complete buffoon who could not have handled this more poorly. But I don’t blame all of it on him. We’ve had experts with airtime saying what was best and wise. Instead, far too many have chosen ignorance and arrogance. Trump is simply a reflection of that idiotic id.
Going into work today - in possibly the most Trump-hating area in the world - the number of people I saw with bags heading to SFO with no fucks given was astounding. People don’t care irrespective of political affiliation. They just don’t care until they’re forced to.
In all, it’s a wrap. Vaccination or bust. We’re looking at rolling back contract tracing as at this juncture as there’s no point - better to have the nurses in pathetic ICU tents rather than wasting time talking to uncaring people who can’t even remember where they went and with who they went with. It’s really sad, honestly. These next two months I’d hope will be eye-opening but they won’t be.
