No mate, he’s a surgeon. Once they open a batch of the vaccines it needs to be used within a certain timeframe. He got pulled in from walking down a corridor and they had some spares at the end of a batch to use up

I’m getting mine at 0830 on new years day. Far more important than any shandies on NYE. It is getting out of control and there is nothing like the discipline we saw in March. Plus there is a massive backlog of stuff and emergency work is more complicated as it has been grumbling along for longer. It is going to take a long while to undo all this.

I know a GP who has got it as they had to use up the batch as well. Seems like a right ballache to manage the Pfizer jab. Hopefully he Oxford one will be approved this week?

Hursty Hopefully…….my wife’s uncle is mentally handicapped and lives with her folks. Getting him the vaccine is a major priority as he’s diabetic too. Her parents have basically been in lockdown since it began. Once he gets vaccinated at least they can relax on that front to a degree. Zero date when they will have the vaccine ready for him so far……..gotta love Kent!

Think they may have to shoot him with an elephant gun too as he’s a bit feisty. Poor nurse may get a right hander

Have heard of recent transmission between hair stylists or masseurs to clients. The husband of one of them has ended up in a coma…. too many people have been assuming that if you have a mask on (or you’re outside) you’re safe. Grim.

Smallman1 woman’s only contact was with stylist…. and masseur mate tested positive a few days after massaging someone who was positive (2 days after the massage)

Then there’s the Channel 4 head of news (44 years old) who got a very nasty dose despite only having met friends outside in line with tier 2 rules…
