FabiParas i donāt think of it as something like a well-defined, legal definition of vulnerable, there will always be grey area, no matter the approach. nothing is going to be perfect, itās a rapidly spreading virus with a myriad of impacts from zero to death, including possible long term consequences we donāt understand well yet.
to some degree, i think you need to let people decide for themselves if they fall into a āvulnerableā category. how do you tell someone whoās 85 years old that they canāt live the last few years of their lives the way they want? i donāt have a simple answer to that, but i think you let them choose. conversely, if they want to stay home, put the unemployed to work providing support (groceries, errands, etc.) for people who choose to isolate themselves. keep the economy going as much as we can, support the people who need it most, mitigate risk and spread, and wait for a vaccine/herd immunity.
