Old-Dutch … I never thought of myself as Xenophobic in the past, but China is fucking me right off the past few years. Human rights, animal rights ( killing tigers for their cocks as a cure for cancer etc), behavior around Hong Kong, and not stopping Wet Markets after the previous bird flu/SARs pandemics.
Plus I have no real sympathy for their people, not having the balls to stand up to a communist state. Sure they all have fancy iphones, but they arent allowed to read an article on Tianoman Square or debate alternatives to the "“party”". Weak.
No sure what the answer is to exert pressure on China to change some of their ways, but if there is proof the Wet Market in Wuhan was to blame, that industry needs closing down. No debate. All world leaders need to exert sanctions until that happens, for the sake of humanity. That whole industry was only introduced to incentivize and monetize the rural communities as the state were too lazy to help them out in the past.
