Current lockdown is actually less severe than the original, whilst the R number is higher, Hospitals are maxed out, there are O2 supply issues and the staff are fucked.

There’s a pretty reasonable argument for tighter restrictions to be fair.

Plenty of normal '‘middle class’ family people bending the rules in much the same way people break the speed limits when driving cars. It kills people but many still do it.

Yeah from what I’ve seen and experienced it’s prob a 50/50 split, the upper and middle classes defo exhibiting an air of entitlement. Just look at the pro-athletes having house gatherings over Xmas.

LT42 that is a shocking decision. Its almost like locking the doors and saying kids don’t look at that over there, stay here. It’s why the Iron Curtain fell in the end because the kids started seeing how the rest of the world functioned and they pushed against the status quo.
