I’m sure it’s the same across the Med but all the hotels here will only be open at 50% capacity and they all have to have Govt stamped certs to operate. Full closure for the winter. Plus prices are through the roof, you would think it would be the opposite to get customers in but the demand is huge and people are paying for rooms with an almost 75% increase.

Has it become the norm to have a big bottle of hand sanitiser waiting by the front door of your home? Friend who owns a Mexican restaurant came over to drop off some food and was shocked we don’t have one. Gave us the billy big balls about not taking COVID seriously. Told him the sink was right there and there’s a reason we opted for dettol hand wash.

I’m looking at a long-haul trip pretty soon before things go pear-shaped again.

    I’m still not sure whether i’ll be going back to India in january. I really want to but at the moment it doesn’t look good
