Richmond was rammed today… I’ve never seen it so busy - crowds of youngsters drinking and lots of older people sitting around in smaller groups…. patience amongst many seems to be wearing thin.

What a total fucking mistake it has been to not lock down hard (army dropping food at your door kind of lockdown) for a month…saving us the drawn out few months misery of a Boris Johnson type lockdown. I hope people in this country understand that if we have to do this again, we should follow the example of China and not repeat the mistakes of the last twelve months…

Jules72 As I said, shops should just be point blank refusing entry or service. Morrisons seem to do a pretty good job, Asda don’t seem to give a shit (although their pikey clientele may be more dangerous to deal with).

Not worth the trouble, Jules. Those types have already shown they don’t give a fuck about anyone else. They know they’re wrong and stupid. Arrogance and a caustic attitude is all they have left. The only time I’ve stepped in was at Trader Joe’s where the cunt was being a, well, cunt to the poor lass trying to stop him from entering. A few months back. Bartending for years does have its perks - like knowing how to talk down to people when they’re being unruly.

And I don’t care about any studies that undermine the efficacy of masks. 87% of the public seem to have weighed the pros and cons and are in favour of them, so anyone who isn’t wearing one - against the wall, bill for the bullet charged to their family.

You wear a mask for a few days and you barely recognize it’s even there. Putting it on as I leave the house is second nature at this point. Like putting on deodorant after taking a shower.

The only thing I don’t like is not being able to tell people’s dispositions on the street. Oakland obviously has its issues and where I work on SF is an omnishambles of craziness.
