Along_the_Wire Amex BA credit card. 2-for-1 vouchers. Do all online shopping through the BA online shopping portal (gate365 - 20 avios per pound on mothers day flowers - have some of that). I have paid about 800 quid over the years for enough avios. But that gets us a nice flight once a year. Went to kenya this time last year in first class. Total cost £1100ish for 2 first class return flights to nairobi.

Needs a bit of planning but is doable. We were due to go to singapore in may but that has been cancelled. Now have 290k avios in the household account and loads of vouchers.

          Smallman1 of course Ddward. The week in Val D’Isere is a conference not a holiday. The week cycling in the alpes in the summer is an exercise retreat, not a holiday. To be honest we did have some other flights booked that we paid for but they have not happened.

                        C_J My mates mum has a place in Port D’Andratx. Perfect for 1 long ride over to Sa Calobra and back and loads of little rides with nice hills over on the west of the island. The Mallorca 312 along thenorth of the Island from Poleca to Andratx was a stunning day in the saddle.

                        Of course it is a holiday, but if it is to the alpes I drive rather than fly. Much easier and keeps the bikes safe.
