Went to meet some mates on Southbank tonight…60% masks compliance on the way to Waterloo from Wimbledon (overground)… asked platform attendant at Waterloo why there was no enforcement - he said it was police’s job… found 3 police bods walking around.. they said it was transport police’s job… found one transport police who said he is concerned but they don’t have the manpower… on the way back, loads of people getting on train without a mask… found 3 transport police standing 30 metres away from the ticket barriers talking amongst themselves… challenged them as to why they weren’t enforcing masks and they just got all antsy. Took down their PC numbers and will complain. Fuck you Boris Johnson.

Makes my blood boil more than Brexit - the fucking incompetence is just incredible… people will die and the economy will suffer. I actually wrote to my MP earlier in the evening to complain that the government has given the population the impression the pandemic is over. She replied and pushed back.. I said to her dont defend the indefensible - raise your voice….

Every pub I went past earlier was rammo.

Everyone was 30 or younger, they’re thinking they’re immune to it not considering the wider implications.

The idiots are winning.

Smallman1 surprised then Southbank quite empty.. Guess people going out in their neighbourhoods… what I don’t get is why you would drink inside when you can do so outside… that’s really fckng empty headed

Have to say though Jules I’m not sure how keen I’d be on getting on public transport to go to the Southbank either.

    No judging brother, just saying.

That photo is genuinely terrifying LT!

Got to say, this is the first time I’ve ever felt unsafe in my own country… that law and order has imploded

Smallman1 well… there aren’t that many people on the overground .. if you see someone without a mask you walk away. The challenge for me is getting wound up - is it worth the anger/stress?

        Common sense.

Two words that have vacated thought process.

Jules72 well… there aren’t that many people on the overground .. if you see someone without a mask you walk away. The challenge for me is getting wound up - is it worth the anger/stress?

        As Liam so wonderfully sang.

        Is it worth the aaaaaaagravashuuuun?

Smallman1 yeah.. will stick to my safer drinking holes nearby next time…. don’t want to get into heated exchanges with people when I go out.

What this retarded government hasn’t realised is that, in order to bring the economy back to where it was, you need to make people feel safe. They eased the lockdown when average daily deaths were around 100… vs way lower in Europe.. brilliant.

Surely it’s only the minority of the 60+ million who are out getting smashed. Town seemed dead where I live, granted it was wet but most people around here are still being sensible.

Definitely not worth getting stressed out over it mate.

Well in for calling out the plod @Jules72 , they’re utterly useless bastards where I live too.

We need police death squads like they have in the states. Zero fucks given, mowing people down with pepper balls to a Def Leppard soundtrack.

Smallman1 I’ve just been onto National Rail and if you’ve got 5+ cans of Nelson on you, you can take your mask off.

          Winning.

          ^

          Smallman1 The idiots are winning.

C_J i sometimes find myself ogling young women and then realising that only my mouth is covered and not my eyes.

Watch it there CJ; zackster will be calling you Jeffrey next.
