I was the same, and heard the same about suffering more if previously had COVID. Had my 1st jab last Tuesday bout lunchtime, and felt fine that evening. Got all smug about it as I headed off to bed. Woke up at 2am, shivering, feeling like utter shite, feverish - all that bollocks. Felt properly grim for 24 hours, then felt right as rain.
Hopefully means I shouldn’t feel too rubbish after the 2nd one…
