Efficacy against symptomatic B.1.617.2 was 81% after two doses, much higher than many have feared.

Old-Dutch ….but a single dose doesn’t give much protection according to the article… funny how they don’t break the findings down by vaccine - they clearly don’t want people shopping around.

My handyman’s family all seem to have come down with the Indian variant … young son ended up in hospital (out now thankfully, but with a nasty skin rash). Handyman had the vaccine and is better, while his wife only had it 3 days before catching it and is v weak… government would be nuts to abandon distancing until pretty much l all adults have had the vax

zackster haha Zack I am… I’m going about my life pretty much as normal….but I’m definitely fckng fed up of the stupidity and repetitive mistakes being made by the incompetent bellends running the country and them getting away with it.. the article Dutchy posted talks about the low protection from one vaccine - that’s why before opening clubs etc you need almost all adults (fully) vaccinated… I don’t want to end up at square one - yeah you can look the other way, but there’s a big risk being taken in the U.K. at the moment.

AZ Ed? They reckon if you’ve had Covid the first one hits you harder but if not the 2nd one will as that’s the 2nd time you’ve been exposed to the virus.

Old-Dutch Had Covid at.Christmas and suffered no side effects from my first AZ jab. By contrast, my wife did she had it at Christmas too
